Maybelle is one of our beautiful Chocolate females. She is a fun dog to work with. At 55 Lbs she’s quick, and has bang!!! She has amazing natural talent and ability, tons of drive, She goes hard when sent, she is very alert and eager, and very stylish in the field. Yet Maybelle is totally under control and quiet.

Maybelle (or Mabes) as we call her is a pup from our boy Merlin WCX SH. We did an outside breeding with her sire Merlin, and decided I wanted a pup from this particular breeding.

From the minute that I brought Maybelle home it was evident that she was her fathers daughter!! She was a quick learner, and was passionate and driven. We cannot teach passion or drive, but we can breed, and breed it we did with this little girl.

Maybelle comes off of fantastic field and hunt bloodlines that include her sire Prariestorm Merlin WCX SH, as well as FC AFC Choco Lickity-Split, FC WBF’s Man on the stand, NAFC FC AFC Barton Creek’s O Mustard, HRCH Watermarks Texas Road Trip MH, FC AFC Way Da Go Call Of The Wild, NFC FC AFC Hunter Runs BooBoo. This is in the first 3 generations. Maybelle does not carry any Magnum Force in her bloodlines.

When not in the field Maybelle is a joy to have in the house and in the yard. She has a great OFF switch, and easy demeanour. She follows us around everywhere we go, and wants to be a part of what we are doing. She loves meeting new people. You can often find Maybelle tagging along with my girls when they go horse back riding.
