Briar —  Oak Lane’s Into The Briar Patch  2-Year-Old Female Field-Bred English Springer Spaniel

Briar is a beautiful two-year-old field-bred English Springer Spaniel from our July 9, 2024 litter. She was originally kept back with the intention of becoming part of our future breeding program, but as she has matured, we feel that a pet/companion home is going to be the best fit for her.Briar has had a tremendous amount of training put into her. She has excellent obedience, both on and off leash, has had extensive leash training, and is fully collar conditioned. She is a very well-mannered, responsive dog who enjoys being with her people.

Briar has an absolutely wonderful temperament. She is happy, loving, easy-going and extremely people-oriented. She gets along very well with other dogs and is great with everyone she meets. She loves attention and companionship and has that classic happy, affectionate Springer personality.

Briar is NOT being offered as a hunting dog. While she is a field-bred Springer, she simply does not have the level of hunting drive that we look for in our working dogs, and we don’t feel that pursuing a hunting career is the right direction for her. Instead, we feel Briar will absolutely shine as an obedience-trained family companion. She could fit beautifully into a family home or with a single person looking for a well-trained, active, affectionate dog to share their life with. She would be a wonderful companion for walks, hiking, camping, travelling, or simply being part of everyday family life.

Briar is fully up to date on all vaccinations and veterinary care.For someone wanting to skip the puppy stage and bring home a young, trained, well-socialized Springer Spaniel with a fantastic temperament, Briar could be a wonderful fit.
