We imported Gus in May of 2025, from Matty Lambden, and Tamrose Labradors in Ireland. The second this 68 LB black beauty got off the plane I was smitten with this guy. He looked absolutely magnificent. Then I got him home!!!

Gus is what I call the WHOLE package!!! Not only is Gus stunning to look at, We love his personality. Gus has tons of drive, marks single and double retrieves and picks them ups like a heat seeking missile. He handles like he is a remote controlled car, he’s steady as a statue, and is quiet as a ghost. Gus likes working water as much as he likes to work land. He is very biddable, and he just wants to hear those 2 words “Good Dog”

Gus comes off of a very impressive British Field pedigree with many IGL champions. He is  Sired by the 2021 IGL winner GB FTCH Millbuies Ghillie, his grand sire is 2016 IGL champion ENG NAT FTCH INT FTCH Bellies Aguzannis Of Fendawood, as well as IGL 2019 and 2021 finalist FTCH Troddenmills Full Throttle Of Leacas, many other great producers can be found in Gus’ pedigree like FTCH Fernshot Olivia, IntFTCH Ragweed’s Travel, FTCH Tamrose Aragon, and IrFTCH Watergreen Gemma of Monsell all around in his first 3 generations.

When Gus isn’t in the field, or training he’s a blast to have around. He has that British Off switch where you often forget the he is in the house. He loves to play, and be around his family. Gus will follow me everywhere. He just wants to see what I am doing and be apart of it. Gus is great when meeting new people and quickly shows what a clown he is. We are very thankful that Gus was offered to us!!
